Who We Are

Sterling Painting LLC is an independent painting contractor licensed by the state of Arizona, serving Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey, Paulden, as well as all of Yavapai County.

We are a residential and commercial painting company and a 31 year local resident with 30 plus years experience in the trade, committed to providing the best in quality and customer satisfaction while making a positive impact within our community.

Our Process

Step 1: Get in Touch

Give us a call to discuss your project and see how we can help you.

Step 2: Scheduling

Once we have the details of your project, we will schedule a time to visit your home, walk through the job with you, answer questions you may have, discuss options, colors, materials used etc.

Step 3: Estimate

We provide you with a detailed estimate for your project.

Step 4: Scheduling Start Date

Once you've received your estimate, we'll answer any questions you may have, help you with color selections and schedule your project start date.

Step 5: Pre-Start Walkthrough

On the first day, before we start work, we will walk through the entire scope of work with you. Answer any questions you may have.

Step 6: Prep Work

This is the phase where we prepare the areas we work in as well as the surfaces involved in painting. Moving and covering furniture and floors, masking areas not painted, scraping, sanding, caulking, priming, small repairs etc.

Step 7: Painting

In this phase, the actual painting takes place. Depending on the scale and scope of work, painting process takes place in a specific order. For example: On the interior, ceilings first, then baseboards and trim, then walls. On the exterior, walls and soffits are sprayed first, then fascias and trim work.

Step 8: Post-Job Walkthrough

Once the work is done, we will walk the entire project to make sure everything is flawless and approved by you.

Step 9: Final Payment

When the painting and walkthrough is complete, we collect the final payment for our work.

Step 10: Follow-up & Warranty

Once your painting project is complete, we have a follow-up call with you within a few days to make sure everything is perfect. We are so confident in our work, we back it up with a 3 year labor warranty.
